It’s about empowering you to feel confident supporting them to sleep, in ways that honour everyone’s needs.
Grounded in understandings of attachment, nervous system regulation, and in developmental, evolutionary and anthropological/ decolonial approaches.
I'm not just trained in this stuff, I live it too
As a parent to a 2 year old, I have been there. We are still there right now.
But I’ve learned to take the basics of sleep biology, evolutionary understandings of little ones, attachment & nurture and I combine these with my lived experience of my child and my family.
And Tender Little Beings is grounded in the recognition of the wholeness of babies and children – recognising their right for respect and dignity and agency, as whole (tiny) human beings.
And this is to say a really important message -
I wont be coming to this as the ‘expert’. This is a collaboration of my knowledge and skills with your crucial knowledge & instinct around what you, your child and your family need.

I found the transition to parenting incredibly hard.
My baby didn't sleep anywhere but on me. He cried whenever we went out places (and therefore so did I).
I am really passionate about supporting others on this journey - whether you are right at the beginning, antenatal or many years in.
The journey of caring for and being in relationship with our tender little beings is ever changing. There is no end point, and as much as I have wished for one, there isn't always a 'right' answer.
So instead I am applying my many different trainings to create a form of support that hopefully resources you for now and for the journey ahead.

Sleep Biology is an incredibly helpful foundation for understanding and supporting our little ones' sleep. This series is a free resource that I've created to offer you these foundations of Sleep Biology that I share with my clients (and that I use when navigating my son's sleep).
