Grounded in social justice principles, the Resilience Toolkit uses evidence-based stress reduction practices to increase:
- Embodied Self-Awareness
- Nervous system & Emotional Regulation
- Interpersonal Connection
Nkem Ndefo
Societally, we have ended up with an idea of 'Resilience' as being the same as grit. The same as determination. Being resilient is seen as just keeping going not matter how many times you get knocked down.
Inspired by prompts for the changing seasons and the magic of Circle Space, Circle Journeys offer an opportunity to gain so much awareness and wisdom. A combination of learning embodiment, mindfulness and nature connection practices, with the magic of Circle Space - these programmes are something truly special and an absolute joy and honour to facilitate.

Hayley - 1:1 Resilience Toolkit
I first came across Nkem Ndefo (the creator of The Resilience Toolkit and all round amazing human) on this episode of For the Wild.
I was captivated by their approach and explanation of the human experience - particularly as I navigated huge life shifts and changes to my health and body.
A few years later I had the immense privilege to train with Nkem and the team at Lumos Transforms and found it transformative.
It lit a fire in me to share these tools and approaches and understandings of stress; linking personal stress awareness and cycles to relational practices, community and working towards liberation.
The Resilience Toolkit is not about trauma healing - it is the stage needed BEFORE this, that is far too often missed. It is focusing on stabilisation. -building resilience, for ourselves and our communities.
This work is simple and can be transformative. You can work with me to build your own Toolkit either 121 or in a group - more information about these options below!

GROUPS
Intake form
As you book you'll notice a link to the intake form to fill in so that I can know how best to support you and to tailor the programme where possible.
3 x Weekly Live Online Sessions (90 mins)
Group sessions are a mix of practices and space for discussion and engagement. In the first of the three sessions, we will start with exploring 'Resilience', and learning a Model of understanding stress. Building self awareness and language around how stress shows up for us is a key building block for the toolkit.
Home Practices
Between sessions, you are encouraged to start using the toolkit practices. There will be space for optional sharing in the next session to discuss any challenges, supports, and/or anything you notice with your home practice.
Ongoing Support from Me
During the programme you are welcome to get in touch with any questions about the practices and/or the toolkit.
1:1 SUPPORT
This is similar to the above, except that sessions are 1 hour weekly and you'll start with a 20 min contracting session to map out how we can make the most of our time together. You can book in a programme of 6 or 12 sessions (and we can always add on further sessions if you'd still like further support).
