Is there something you've been going over and over in your mind but you're not reaching a place of clarity?
Is there a little voice that wants to be heard but struggles to compete with the noise of societal expectations?
Do you have a felt sense about a situation but you can't quite put into words?
My role is to hold a gentle, supportive space for whatever comes up or whatever you would like to bring.
You are the expert and I am there as your ‘co-thinker’ to guide us along a path of exploration.

I’ve always been fascinated by the way we humans interact with and make meaning from our experience of the world.
From Anthropology to Somatics, from Community Development to Mindfulness, I love exploring (and unpicking) the ways that our contexts can shape our understanding and what we make it all mean.
The more I learn, the more I realise there is a real need for us to unlearn...
Unlearning all the ways that we have been conditioned away from trusting our intuition, pushed into a sense of rushing and 'productivity' that ignores our inherent value as human beings. Unlearning the individualism that comes from capitalist, white supremacist society, that cuts us off from caring for and connecting to the wider community, as well as ourselves.
Coming back home to ourselves. Our true, human, caring selves.
It may feel far from your understanding or experience of life right now, or even hard to believe, but I truly believe you already have the answers to the questions that you're asking.
Whether its about a transition in your life, an area where you're experiencing self doubt, a desire to root more into self belief, wanting to live in a way that is more aligned with your values, difficulty navigating conflict or boundaries or simply gaining a deeper understanding and connection to yourself - the answers and resources are in there. But they may also look a little different to what you're expecting...

My 1:1 work is based in a framework of coaching, informed by somatic, body-oriented and developmental approaches. This means that I work with the whole person, inviting the body into the conversation, and thinking about the context of life's transitions and developments.
It can be very powerful to explore topics from this holistic and embodied approach. Helping us to connect with topics and ourselves in an authentic and often new way that allows for playfulness and creativity, as well as enable sustainable change.
Clients seek out 1:1 space for all sort of different reasons. You might have a specific topic you want to explore in a more embodied way, within a supportive and non-judgemental space. You may simply feel you'd like to have space held for whatever wants to arise, for you to connect with the wisdom of your body and unpick current thinking patterns.
The first session includes 'contracting', which is a discussion around details of how we will work together to make sure that I am supporting you as much as possible and that we are on the same page with all the details of the offering. As part of this we can discuss whether you want to have a home practice to engage with between sessions.
Within the sessions there is the potential for me to offer an invitation to use gentle 'experiments' to invite wisdom of the body, as we recognise that the body and mind aren’t separate (and this is part of the somatic / body-oriented approach). However this is completely invitational and we will follow what feels comfortable and right for you. The space is yours and I’m joining the journey to offer gentle encouragement, curiosity and compassion.
We can also explore incorporating practices and concepts from different teachings such as mindfulness, ecosomatics, nature connection, self compassion, meditation and mindful movement. Working together 1:1 means that we can really tailor the space to your interests and your needs.
Are you feeling a sense of self-doubt or coming up against barriers in a certain area of life? Single sessions can be a brilliant space to really drill down into a particular area or question. This might be areas like maintaining boundaries, or trying something new, honouring your own needs, navigating conflict or wanting to access more self-belief in an area of your life.
Step into the Forest Glade, where we can meet and hold space to explore this together in a spacious and supportive way.
These sessions are an hour long, and will take place online via zoom. Before the session I will send out a short questionnaire to help us be really focused in our time together. If you have a few different ideas of what you want to discuss you can include these
You might wonder whether you can make any kind of real changes within one session but you might be surprised. When focusing on a single issue, single sessions can be incredibly powerful. Weaving in an aspect of embodiment can lead to lasting change and learning.
There is the option to add a 'follow-up' call for 30 mins a month after the single session.
These can be a great option if you're interested in trying out coaching before committing to a longer container.
In these longer containers we can follow the natural process of where the work takes us. I will gently and supportively hold space for the evolving process, nurturing the insights and shifts that arise, and exploring all of this together with a sense of curiosity and compassion. You might have a specific topic or area you want to work on, or you may just want to keep our work open and see where it leads.
This can look like:
a series of three one-hour online coaching sessions every two weeks across a six week period. Support and space for integration via Voxer between sessions.
OR
a series of six one-hour online coaching sessions every two weeks across a twelve week period. Support and space for integration via Voxer between sessions.
The reason for the alternate weeks of live call and Voxer support is because this gives time and space between the sessions for processing, embedding and potentially applying what we explore together. We can discuss whether you would like to create 'home practices' to work with between sessions.
Below are the rates for each container:
The Glade (Single Session - 60 mins) - £40
Optional follow up call (30 mins) - £20
Holding
6 week container 3x 60 mins + Voxer - £135
12 week container 6 x 60 mins + Voxer - £270
Concession rates available and we can work out payment plans if needed.

I am not about pushing you to be anything other than yourself. You are not a problem to be fixed. The ethos and approach of this is to recognise that you, as the client, already have everything you need – I am just holding the space for you to feel you can explore it.
I am not a therapist. I will always be clear about my scope of practice. Integrity and Responsible practice are incredibly important values in my work and I will be very clear where the boundaries of what I can support with are. If something comes up in a session that feels like it belongs in therapy we can work together to try to ground and resource you as much as possible in that moment, and later you can take that piece to a qualified therapist.
A helpful way to think about the distinction might be that often we look to address how our patterns are informed by previous experiences that are often based in trauma - as a coach I won’t be ‘treating‘ your trauma, but I will make it welcome within the discussion.
None. I can't promise any specific outcomes. This process is a natural unfolding that we can't predict. We are looking to open up awareness to the unspoken and to meaningful explorations. As I mentioned, I am not the expert - you are. What I can promise is that I will offer a supportive space, where your lived experience and your perspective are honoured and centred. I can promise a collaborative and respectful approach that hopefully allows space for the growth and experience that is most needed.
Coaching is often associated with Business Execs / people in suits who want to ACHIEVE and PUSH and DO ALL THE BIG THINGS. Hopefully you're getting the vibe from my website that this is not me. Nothing against suits or the people who wear them - you're all very welcome! For me the practice of coaching offers me the ability to have a clear container in which to offer 1:1 support with integrity and supervision. I think there is huge potential for support, growth and building self awareness within coaching spaces. And also there is an important piece about finding the right fit for you. If you feel like I might be the right fit but you feel like you need to find out more, you can book a chat. If you want coaching but feel like what's holding you back is actually that we aren't the right fit for each other then I would encourage you to trust that instinct! There are plenty of brilliant coaches out there.
I am in no way claiming to have the 'answers' or to be able to make any difference to your health. You are not a problem to be solved and you are the expert in you - as the coach I hold space and act as a co-thinker. Anyone who is promising health changes from coaching or any intervention makes me deeply suspicious. However, this is not at all to say that we can't discuss aspects of living with a chronic illness - as someone who lives with chronic illness I know that this is a lens that impacts most, if not all, aspects of my life. Similarly I am not trying to change or fix any parts of you - I believe wholeheartedly in the Theory of Paradoxical Change (which is a fancy way of saying that change happens when we accept who we are rather than trying to change ourselves). All of you is welcome here - just the way you are.
